In Memory Of…

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Birgit Starmanns.

 

 

Birgit Starmanns was a visionary for our District and full of life. Her passion for dancing, writing, and PR was effervescent and she incorporated it into her speeches. Of her many Toastmasters’ accomplishments, the most notable were her pioneering the Destination 101 Podcasts, hosting the 75 episodes of the Bay to Bay cable TV program, and winning District 101’s Fall Fusion Table Topics Contest in 2021.
