Contest Details:

Saturday, October 25

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM PT

Location: Independence Adult Education Center, 625 Educational Park Dr, CA 95133

Requirements to Participate:

* You must be able to attend in-person on October 25, 2025

* No club contest / area contest needed

* Online video submitted

* Club must be in good standing

* Member must be in good standing

Important Dates:

Sep 15 – Contest Kickoff

Oct 5 – Video Submission Deadline

Oct 10 – Final Contestants Announced

Oct 25 (AM) – Division Contests

Oct 25 (PM) – District Contest featuring Division winners

Judging:

* Two contestants will be determined per area (1 main representative, 1 back-up)

* At least 5 judges per area

FAQ:

* Speech Length: The speech must be between 5 and 7 minutes long.

* Thematic Structure: The speech must have a clear thematic structure, including a distinct beginning, middle, and end. It should not be a series of random one-liners or a monologue.

* The number of Division participants are based on the number of areas in the Division

* No educational requirement needed to participate

* Multiple submissions (from different members) are allowed per club
