Leadership Luncheon 2024

The recent District 101 Leadership Luncheon exemplified our dedication to growth and development. Held to honor the outgoing leadership team and commend outstanding achievers from the past year, the event fostered camaraderie, reflection, and inspiration.
Central to the luncheon was the expression of gratitude towards the outgoing leadership team. These individuals, who served diligently in roles such as Club officers, Area Directors, Division Directors, and other district leadership positions, were praised for their commitment, foresight, and the countless hours they volunteered to support their fellow Toastmasters.
Every member of the outgoing team received certificates of appreciation, recognizing their specific accomplishments and their impact on their clubs and the broader Toastmasters community.
A notable moment during the lunch was the Roast of our outgoing District Director Abhijeet Joshi, DTM. Several members shared personal anecdotes highlighting their collaborations and experiences working with him—an annual tradition in the district to honor the contributions and achievements of the outgoing District Director.

Manini Pattnayak – Area Director of the Year
Hrishikesh Gokhale – Division Director of the Year
Kari Lynn Morgan – Toastmaster of the Year
As the luncheon drew to a close, I, as the new incoming District Director, shared a vision for the upcoming year, themed “Your Story Matters.” With this theme, I aim to inspire members to share their personal journeys, both in their personal lives and within Toastmasters, to inspire, influence, and impact their fellow members.
The luncheon concluded with a toast to the future, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to the district’s mission. The accomplishments highlighted at the event underscored the organization’s enduring values of integrity, respect, and excellence.
